Optiparts Replacement Axle for Optimist trolley

25mm stainless steel axle with plastic plug, used on all Optiparts Optimist trolleys.

Used to replace the existing aluminium ones that wear through over time.

Fitment

Tools:

• Hammer
• Flat head screw driver
• Drill & 5mm Metal bit
• Rivet Gun & 5mm rivets

Method:

1. You will need a drill to drill out the rivet holding the existing axle in place
2. The plastic stopper can be tapped out with a hammer and a flat headed screw driver
3. The new axle is shorter that the old alloy ones, you will need to drill a hole and insert a rivet in to the trolley arm to create a stop for the axle end when inserted
4. Insert a new screw or rivet in to the plastic to retain it in place once reassembled.
